Supply List

For the past 17 years, I've almost exclusively purchased my art supplies at Jerry's Artarama (aside from when I get canvases from my local Michaels). They represent tons of brands, have high standards, affordable prices, and great customer service. They recently launched their own line of paint called Tuscan and Pine. Ive included my favorites for intermediate and professional artists: Click the Jerry's logo below to see my suggested materials list:

Paints

Tuscan & Pine

~Permanent Red Light
~Cadmium Yellow Medium

~Ultramarine Blue

~Pthalo Blue

~Brilliant Pink

Winsor & Newton / Gamblin

~Green Gold

~Alizarin Crimson

Michael Harding

~Lemon Yellow

Van Gogh

~Viridian

Canvas

I usually buy canvases at Michaels when they have their buy 1 get 2 free sale. I paint a thin layer of shellac (from Home Depot) ontop so I'm painting on a beautiful smooth surface versus the dry canvas surface

Brushes

~Pro Stroke filbert brushes

Solvent

~Gamsol

Palette

~ I've used everything from fancy wooden palettes to a plate of glass. Right now I'm using glass because I love how easy it is to scrape clean.

Paper Towels

~Viva Paper Towel, hands down!

Varnish

~ Gamvar by Gamblin
